Benefits from each injection should be evident inside 3 weeks of the treatment. Many treatments, four to six weeks apart, are often needed to produce a fully satisfactory result.
Procedure
The main ingredients used include phosphatidylcholine, multivitamins and saline. Phosphatidylcholine is a natural lecithin that contains 2 unsaturated fatty acids (Linoleic- and alpha Linoleic acids) extracted from the soy plant.
Phosphatidylcholine (PPC) is actually made by the body itself, however the body’s version includes saturated fatty acids (Palmitic-, Oleic- and Stearic-acid). It’s found in all cell membranes and occurs naturally, for example, in the lungs of the developing foetus from the 4th month on. During this case it’s loaded with palmitic acid and allows the inflation and deflation of the lungs, preventing them from sticking together. It performs a similar function as a lubricant within the intestines to avoid adhesions.
To make PPC injectable, it needs a solvent that also needs to be a detergent substance; deoxycholic acid is used within the emulsification of fats for the absorption within the intestine.
When injected into fatty tissue with very skinny needles, the double layer of the fat cell membrane swell and harden and the agent, that acts like a detergent, begins the fat breakdown, transforming the fat cells into tiny very little fat particles of Nano-size (one millionth of a millimetre). The final process happens within the liver wherever the fat is totally broken down into carbon dioxide and water.
